Hopefully someone can assist me with this problem I am having. I am
currently running windows XP and I have not downloaded service pack 2 yet. I
run internet explorer 6. I tried clicking on update windows, so that I could
download service pack 2 and any other updates needed and I received a message
saying "Your current security settings prohibit running activeX controls on
this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly". I did a search
on this problem and I tried all the different security settings I could find,
but no luck. Please any assitance would be great.

I am also having a second problem and i'm not sure if they are related. I
downloaded directX 9.0c from microsoft. I then double clicked on the file to
install and I receive a message that says "A cabinet file necessary for
installation cannot be trusted" with a ok button. Any help will be
appreciated.

Thanks for reading,
Steve
