Hello Jim,
Unistalled Norton firewall and NAV. Reinstalled XP SP2 and activated
firewall. Worked through your protocol and surprisingly didn't find anything
that made any difference. Added a Linksys router and the problem has not
recurred. I think it may have been a connection problem. Thanks for your
help. I have saved a copy of your response for futer reference. Weeble
