Hi Ben - Those "errors" are normal, at least for the files/folders you
cite - these are simply files/folders that were in use by the operating
system and to which SysClean was denied access. You should look carefully
in the log and be sure that all of these appear reasonable - If something
unusual shows up in that group, it would be worth a second look. BTW, 23
minutes isn't bad - mine runs considerbly longer than that. :)

As to keeping SysClean - just leave things as they are. You should download
and overwrite a new set of files with the updater the next time you want to
run SysClean, and then use the same "show hidden files" and "clean boot"
procedures.

As for Norton - you'll probably have to go through the manual remove process
carefully to get rid of it. First though, try using their uninstall program
using compatibility mode. See here: http://tinyurl.com/yuevl If that
doesn't work try the manual procedures here as appropriate for the version
you had installed:

Manually uninstalling Norton AntiVirus 2002 from Windows NT/2000/XP

Removing Norton AntiVirus 2004 from Windows XP/2000 after Add/Remove
Programs does not work

Removing Norton AntiVirus 2005 from Windows XP/2000 after Add/Remove
Programs does not work

There are other documents which may be pertinent here, at the end:

Good luck!
