</source>

That image is cacheable? (Odd). Set Work Offline
(e.g. press Alt-F,W) and enter this URL:
http://home.att.net/cgi-bin/counter.gif?nueva.vida_01

(You could use View Source yourself to verify that this is the same URL
which you should be seeing.)

With that URL showing whatever it shows, press Ctrl-F5 and reconnect.

When I do that the number I had is changed to 0. (That's logical;
the request did not have a Referer with it so the host would not want
to include that request in its statistic.)

Now press Back. I'm seeing zero still; so the host must have sent
an Etag with that 0 which is now being used to refresh the old page.
Press Ctrl-F5 on this page. Now I see the counter again.
