Thx alot. I went on every link you gave me, downloaded what I thought could
help me but still no use. I run a anti-virus scan, adaware scan, spybot
search & destroy and also everything you told me. I managed to do one thing
though. When I doulbe click the IE6 icon at the bottom it tells you what page
is loading. I wrote down what was loading and it was a file from my system32
folder called : shdoclc.dll. But there is a catch. The full file is
res://C://WINDOWS/system32/shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm
this means that there is some file within that dll file. I dont know if this
matters but I thought I would just bring it up. I am now going to do the
winsock xp fix. I'll let you know how it goes. Please let me know what you
think could help me out. Oh and one more thing. This happened like 2 weeks
ago, and i could use the internet on like the 15th but not on the 16th. I
dont get it. Any help appreciated.
