Hi,
A specific tool to remove CoolWebSearch can be
downloaded from below:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip
However, the fact that you have CWS also means that you are,
more than likely, hosting other programs which could be
causing problems. Therefore, it may be in your interest to
download AdAware, a general program which removes programs
left behind by CWShredder (Keep in mind the CWShredder only
removes CWS varients).
You can AdAware below:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/
After downloading and installing AdAware, *be sure to update
it*. This will ensure you are protected against the latest
threats. Then, run it.
I would also recommend the following document dealing with
SpyWare, and techniques to rid yourself of it:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
Best regards,
Altrus
