Try the following and see if it helps:
You might try the repair tool in TweakUI if you have it. Open TweakUI, go
to the repair tab and repair both the "Icons" and "File Associations". If
you don't have TweakUI, you can get it here:
http://www.microsoft.com/ntworkstat...g/NTTweakUI.asp
or.....
Right-click on the icon, select properties, and correct the Target file path
to point to the program that it's supposed to open.
Example full file path to Winamp media player:
C:\ProgramFiles\Winamp\winamp.exe
If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
with the details and any error messages.
