quickfill using ctrl + enter

Hello,

I used to be able to do the trick where you enter in the browser address bar
just the name, for example "yahoo" , and then hit ctrl + enter and it fills
out the rest with the .com and everything, but for some reason it stopped
doing that on this computer. (Still works on another older computer though.

Any ideas as to why and how I can reclaim this sfeature?
