Anti-Spyware programs are great tools, the problem is sometimes they don't
delete all of the files they list as spyware. The tools are more effective
when you physically check the location of the identified files and manually
delete them. A lot of times, these files are located in a Program folder,
if that program has spyware in it's folder, it's likely that it will replace
it next time the program is executed. Uninstall programs that have spyware
in their folders, especially if the program placed the files in the Common
Files folder. These programs are generally IE toolbars, tickers, ect. As
helpful as third-party tool bars can be, save yourself some time by taking
the extra 5 seconds to go to the search engine's website instead.
