OK, I decided to try to read through your reply...
Start>Run "REGSVR32 JSCRIPT" indicated that it worked OK, although I haven't
the slightest idea what it did, nor whether it helped anything!
re java or javascript malfunctioning - how would I know? I don't even know
what they are.
As for the javascript browser test, my browser passed the test, and said I
have version 1.5.
I won't get involved in the horrible java mess between MS and Sun. Let them
work it out. In the meantime they are obliged to keep our browsers working
correctly! The java discussion in your reply is only confusing, as is the
javascript stuff. How would I know?
At that point I threw up my hands. Your reply is not a proper response IMHO,
just a catch-all which will probably help nobody. I am an end user, not a
technical genius, and don't want to get involved in that tech stuff. I just
want a browser and op system that works right!
