anonymous: msn blocker is not strong enough to stop all the ads on the net!
Their name is legion. I had a zillion pop-ups when I first got the net 4 mos.
ago. After all,it is how and why we have the net! It runs by way of
advertising. I'm talking dollars! I'm a newbie. I don't know a lot, but I'm
quite sure there is NO FILE responsible for the pop-ups. You can't simply
kill them. I have Norton Security which is $65. per year and protects against
virus,spam etc. I also run a program called Ad aware and another one called
Spybot. They are excellent. I have no ads of any kind with these three
protection companies. Ad aware and spybot are free. There are many free
security companies but you have to be careful. They are not all reliable;
that is some of them may enable ads.

I hope I am of some help to you.
