Don,

i have run ad-aware, stinger, norton and spybot. the only thing that found
anything was the spybot one which found 5 DSO entries. but it doesn't seem to
be able to get rid of them.

the strange thing is that if i take down my norton firewall and use my
windows one it works fine. it's as if my norton firewall is blocking
everything. i can use msn explorer and my outlook fine. it just seems to be
my internet explorer.

and i'm still wondering what the 'riogrande' site is that it seems to be
trying to find before it dies.

cheers

dan
