can not open multiple windows

Hi,

I am unable to open multiple windows on MS Internet
Explorer even after disbling McAfee Security, etc. In
fact, the "windows" pull down menu does not even appear
on the tool bar. My daughter is trying to apply for
scholoarships on line which requires multiple open
windows. When I try to open a new window, the currently
open window disappears and a new one appears leaving only
one open window.

Any suggestions ?
