I've been seeing this same error even before I upgrade to
XP Pro service pack 2. I was hoping the service pack would
fix the browser.
Tried these without success, let me know if you find the
culprit.
- sfc /scannow
- winsock32 diags
- adaware (my system is still clean as usual)
One clue: I noticed that the system infomation program
shows that I am missing two files (iecont.dll and
iecontle.dll). I think these could be causing the problem
but I'm not sure how to find them.
Do you have them?
