Hi, please can someone offer some advice.....
I used to use adsl, and got a virus (Francette L). I use
xp, so turned off system restore, formatted, and ran a
virus checker and everything appeared clean. I now use a
dialup modem, and cannot use Internet explorer. I have
installed and am currently using AOL, as this gives me
internet access. However, when I look in internet
options in the control panel, and try to set up a manual
dialup conection my password is continually changed! It
is impossible for it to recognise the password I have
instructed it to use, it always defaults to a 14 digit
password, not chosen by me. Is there any way to remove
this wrong password? My modem dials the correct number,
but always tells me I have used the incorrect password.

Thanks
