I am having the exact same issue. I did find a possible "fix" on the
download site called: "Internet Explorer 6 SP1 Update: Internet Explorer May
Shut Down Unexpectedly If You Have Set Windows and Buttons to Windows XP
Style"
Internet Explorer shuts down unexpectedly because of an access violation.
I downloaded the q822350 "fix" and when I tried to run it I received the
following notice: "This download required Internet Explorer 6.0 service pack
1 to be installed". But the problem is IE6SP1 is installed. I even
reinstalled it and restarted my computer and the download still gives me the
same message. So I may have the fix but it won't run. Any help would be
appreciated as I'm stuck with netscape.
