Hi,
Good IE help sites:
http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/ A little difficult to search. You might try
google, but add this to the search field site:mvps.org
Example... to search for hotmail problems, put this into the search field
site:mvps.org hotmail
And http://www.colba.net/~hlebo49/index.htm for IE problems, start with "I"
in the index.
Or a regular old google search on +work+offline+try+again
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=work+offline+try+again

For the work offline problem:
A few things to try:
1. A registry edit:
http://www.dslreports.com/faq/faq/5.+Troubleshooting#357
2. Repair IE
194177 - Description of the Internet Explorer Repair Tool:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;194177
318378 - How to Reinstall or Repair Internet Explorer and Outlook Express in
Windows XP: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q318378
Also http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/IEFAQ.htm#Reinstall
3. If you have an unneeded DUN connection setup, remove it. (Ctrl Panel>
Dial-Up Networking )
4. In Ctrl Panel> Network> Configuration, remove unneeded components (such
as Dial-Up Adapter)
5. Do you have the latest version of whatever PPPoE software your ISP
provides? Check with your ISP.

And...
If your PPPoE software is Enternet 300, some people report better
performance from RASPPPOE http://www.raspppoe.com/ Your ISP will not
provide tech support for RASPPPOE.

Hope this helps,
Don
