IE 6.0 sp1 always hangs

Hi. I recently had a lot of problems with my IE. I open
my browser and it works fine for a while, then it stops
responding and the only way to close it is through
Alt+Ctrl+Del and ending the task.

I open the Event Viewer and here is the info on the
error:

I also went to many other forums and it seems i've found
a lot of people with the same problem. What could be
wrong? any suggestions would be welcome. thx
