Update:

I found the IE6set-up file by using the Find features, ran it as per your instructions, and installed all updates as per your instructions. I still cannot successfully run the "Repair Internet Explorer" program.

I get the same exact error message as before.

"Internet Explorer 6 could not be repaired. Please run Set-up again to reinstall all components."

 and then:

"Internet Explorer 6 cannot be repaired due to following errors. Version 4.0.0.2926 of file SCRRUN.DLL exists, but the version needs to be greater than 5.1.0.5010."

Please advise.
