Browser address pull-down menu problem

When I click on the button to pull down the web site
address, it is taking aproximately 2 minutes to view the
previously visited sites. Also when I enter an addresss,
the browser takes a long time to display the site. To
circumvent this problem I search the web for the site
name and then connect from the result display and I get
connected immediately.
