spyware ?

I've been getting the following site (or variations of it)
as my default (and home) page in IE:
res://qtvdp.dll/url_error.html#microsoft.com

It always starts with "res:// "
I've installed McAfee virus AND spyware software, but I
can't get rid of this thing. Any help out there? It would
be greatly appreciated.
