We ran into a problem like yours using Crsytal Reports,
here is their reply:
Exporting to HTML 4.0 produces formatting issues on large
reports
When a report is exported to DHTML (HTML 4.0) with
separate HTML Pages
unchecked, the exported HTML file will lose formatting
information and
revert to defaults after approximately page 25 of the
report. The visible
changes can include any or all of the following: font
type, font style, font
size, font colour and possibly overlap other fields. If
you export to
separate HTML pages the report exports with no formatting
problems.
This is a known issue with Crystal Reports (CR) 9 and
export to HTML 4.0,
and has been tracked. The Track ID is ADAPT00062941 .
This is not a problem with the export process, as the
correct DHTML code
will be created, and saved within the document. The
browser of choice must
then interpret this code and render the output correctly.
The IE 6.0 browser
has a code size limitation, when this is met, the browser
no longer
interprets formatting calls.
To workaround this issue it will be necessary to ensure
that separate HTML
pages export options are enabled upon export.
