Hi,
Thanks for the continued help, much appreciated!
Ok well firstly there is nothing special about the group, it just a standard msn group you can find it at: http://groups.msn.com/cerriessigcentral I know most of the members there very well and I know they are using the default msn setup and have no troubles posting. I have always been able to post in plain text, but I've never been able to use the default method of posting on any msn groups.
I've been through the windows update proceedure lots of times but it only ever comes up with updates to windows xp and not IE6. I found the patches by searching for the problem on the Microsoft site and these seemed to sum up pretty well the problem I was having so I thought they would help to solve the problem. I'm also having problems accessing other sites such as http://www.friendsreunited.co.uk/ On this site, the page only loads so far and gets to 28 items remaining and then freezes and eventually comes up with the page cannot be displayed.
Interestingly though, I have a forum of my own (not on msn) and I have no trouble posting there at all http://www.gemsnthings.co.uk/forum
I'm wondering if because the msn group loads some kind of applet to type your message in if this could be some kind of Java problem? Or maybe I'm way off track with that? Sorry as you can tell I'm pretty clueless with these things lol.
Anyway thanks for all your help. You're a star ;-)
