Are we talking ActiveX or Java type of images then, rather than static
.jpg's and .bmp's?
Look into IE Options>security tab>custom level> and see if you're set up to
use those functions. You are primarily looking for Active Scripting enabled
processes. At any rate, check if those functions are set to at least prompt
rather than disabled. Also look into the advanced tab of IE Options and
check if ''show pictures'' is enabled under the multimedia section.
That's all I can think of for the moment.
