Hello,
Having been given the task of checking my daughter's gmail during her
absence, I find that I cannot get past the 'Loading...' announcement
following the entry of her account name and password; that is, a blank
screen is displayed, while the progress bar says 'done'.
I have the EZArmor firewall (ZoneAlarm) installed with the default
settings, except that I have retained the 'warnings' in order to follow the
progress of everything: in the program settings, IE is set to prompt for all
accesses.
IE is set to prompt for nearly everything, and is set to allow session
cookies and to prompt for 3rd party cookies.
One thing that puzzles me about this is that I thought that gmail
required the setting of a cookie, and, since it was entered via the Google
page, that this would have constituted a 3rd-party cookie and thus produce a
prompt, but I don't get one.
If anyone has any experience of this, or suggestions to try, I'd greatly
appreciate it.

Thanks,
Joe
