Page Scrolling problem

Hi,
I just formatted my computer and internet explorer 6 does
not seem to be working well. When i try to scroll down
the page there is some lagging in the movement, which
causes "waves" to form as i'm scrolling. kinda irritating.
Anyone who knows how to resolve this?
