Keep getting "script errors" when I visit various web pages

I keep getting windows that tell me that "an error has occured in the script on this page." under it, it tells me what line the error is, the charachter, the error type, code, and URL. Under the advanced options in IE I have Disable script debugging checked, and Display a notification about every script error unchecked. I use windows Xp with service pack 1 and IE version 6 also with service pack 1.
