On setting up a hyperlink to a locally stored word
document (or in fact any data file) fails to open that
file with the relevant application from a web page. The
link works in Frontpage "Normal" mode with the Ctrl key
but in preview mode or in Internet Explorer clicking on
the link does nothing. The web page is stored locally on
my hard disk.
I run Office XP with Win XP and IE6.
Are there settings that I need to set to allow the
application to load when clicking a hyperlink to a doc
file or a zip file etc...??
Regards Greg
