This is because the sort order is stored in the registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Explorer\MenuOrder\Favorites Import/Export Wizard will not record this key. -- Ramesh - Microsoft MVP Windows XP Shell/User http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k AumHa VSOP: http://www.aumha.org "Julie P." <jporpiglia@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:U6GdnVNZoph_olbdRVn-ig@comcast.com... Hi, I just transferred my IE6 Favorites from one computer to another, using the Export/Import function. The problem is now that they are all alphabetical. Previously, I had them arranged in a special order, depending on how often I visited that site. I could reorder them, but this would take forever, since I have 1000's of favorites. Is there any way to fix this? What if I did a manual copy and paste, instead of importing/exporting? Thanks for any help! Julie
