Urgent -Recurring IE 6.0 problem

Popup showed message that Explorer have encountered
problem and need to close down. After clicking to confirm
to close and while a new browser window restarted.,
another message popup showed:IEXPLORE caused an invalid
page fault in module mfc4e.dll at 015f:5f401ab2,
 
The problem occured patricularly when I closed the brower
for reading an opened PDF file on webpages.

App Name: iexplore.exe
Apl Ver: 6.0.2800.1106
ModName : mfc42.dll
Mod Ver : 6.00.8447.0

 
My machine is ruuning Windows 98 and Explorer 6.0
and have recently installed MSN Messenger 6.2 with MSN
toolbar and RealOne Player.

Any further suggestions and help?
