IE 6

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I can not load IE 6 without the computer hanging. I must
have a virus but have run Norton 2004 and can not
eliminate it. I have applied all of the updates that are
available from Microsoft.
Any sugestions
