HOLD THE PRESSES I FOUND THE CULPRET
the hosts file from the MVPS site in article "blocking unwanted etc" caused
my problem. Now of course I have the original problem, I liked that hosts
file and would like to let the author or overseer know about my adventure.
Anyway to do that???
