can't download invaded by searchpage!

When I connect to the internet my home page is hijacked
by another site which is actually in my hard drive, the
page is C:/searchpage.html and when I try to download
anything it blocks it and the page re-appears. I think I
have found the files in teh hard drive they are named
with a variety of characters but in the folders are files
named sp1 & sp2. I have tried to delete these files but
I get an access denied. I have re-installed the OP, XP
PRO, but to no avail, it's still there. PLEASE CAN
SOMEONE HELP ME GET RID OF IT !!!
