I screwed up my IE6 SP1 for XP Home Edition

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I screwed up IE6 SP1 on Windows XP Home edition. I screwed
it up very well at that, too.

I was messing around with my computer registry. I know,
never a good idea. So I backed it up, first. Well, I
thought I backed it up, first, turns out that I had only
backed up a very small portion of it.

So, after I thought I had backed up the registry, I
proceeded to mess with the settings. In doing so, I must
have made some bad choices concerning internet Explorer.
Ever since I did that, I am unable to surf at all using IE.
I can surf all I want using netscape. And I can even open
Windows explorer, and when I enter web addresses into the
addres bar, I am able to surf using Windows explorer. Just
not IE.

I have tried to uninstall and re-install IE, but that
hasn't helped, either.

Any advice would be greatly appreciate.

Thanks

Joe
