I am using Windows XP, have run spyware, keep my virus program current, and I have a firewall. I also have dial up and sometimes I cannot get access to web pages in IE or Opera. I can, however, download my email. The machine does connect to my ISP, it's just that I cannot get web pages. The error message is server not found. The only thing that has corrected this problem is running Windows Service Pack One that someone downloaded for me to a CD.Any ideas on how to keep the settings intact? Thanks.
