Contrary to what Symantec would have you believe, there are several free
alternatives to removing this program.
First, try downloading AdAware:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/
Once downloaded, by sure to download the update! This shall ensure you are
getting the latest protection. After you have updated, scan you system for
AdWare. The program shall automatically detect those programs and remove them
for you.
You should also consider the following site:

It contains valuable information on SpyWare, and how to best address it,
and prevent future infections.
