Sounds like somewhere along the line while you've been browsing,
something has previously opened a very small second window in your
browser. When that happens, any second window that opens in future will
be at the small size. The easiest cure I've found is this: stretch the
small window to a reasonable size, then close it. When you next click a
link in a browser window it should open up at the size you stretched the
small window to (secondary browser windows rarely open at fully
maximised). Hope this is of some help.
