Shawn,

The favorites Shell Folder is set incorrectly in the registry. Open Registry Editor and goto:

HKEY CURRENT USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
Set the Favorites path to : %USERPROFILE%\Favorites

Restart Internet Explorer. The Shell Folders value will update automatically and changes to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Favorites.

The contents of my "favorites" folder in IE6 have been eliminated and completly replaced by the contents of my computer's c:\\windows directory! Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

     Thanks, Shawn
