autocomplete IE6

This is driving me nuts......I goto tools, internet options, content, and
uncheck all of the boxes for autocomplete. Then I clear history and
passwords.
Next time I reboot my computer (win2000....IE6), the boxes are checked
again.
I want to permanately disable autocomplete......How do I go about this.
