You need to provide a little more information...

1) What error do you get when opening a site?

2) Do you notice any strange behaviour when IE is trying to connect to a
site (watch the progress bar at the bottom of the screen)

3) What settings did you change?

4) What is your IE version ie version 6 or 6 SP1

5) Your Operating System
