I am not sure if others are experiencing this issue, but: I
have suddenly been victim to a problem using IE. Overnight
and with no installations or updates envoked: IE6 gets a
'DNS/page cannot be found' error on every URL I enter. I
have been able to validate my TCP/IP and internet
connections by getting valid hits on the same URL's when
using Netscape and Mozilla. I have uninstalled IE and
reinstalled it with no success. I have also redone XP Pro
(via the upgrade procedure) and this was also unsuccessful.
I hate to think I have to wipe clean and reinstall from the
bottom up. I hypothesize a file corruption somewhere. Can
anyone tell me where I should be looking? I tried replacing
my winsock and wsock dll's but no luck.
