for those that have a problem with their homepage not being
the same and have some wierd search engine that will not go
away. download ad-aware at lavasoftusa.com or spybot
at safer-networking.org . install them ,then do a
update of them. scan your system and look at all the crap
that you accidentally installed. do not click on popups on
sites as they sometimes like to install browser hijackers.
to get rid of popups go to mozilla.org and download
'firefox' it is a browser only and is at the moment more
secure from hijacks. or other popup killer is at
toolbar.google.com ,,do not choose the fancy monitoring of
wesite feature, just the basic install. downloads on dialup
are about 40 minutes.
