https loads slowly with windows 2000

I think I found out the problem... with all the security
patched IE has been putting out it has ended up
compromising a section in the Security section of their
program... When I go to Tools -->Internet Options -->
Advanced --> and look under Security, I unchecked "Check
Server Certification revocation". Once unchecked, I had no
problems with any https: urls.. I think Microsoft needs
to fix this problem.
