I recently removed several spyware programs form my computer. Now IE6 (I have Win XP) cannot open any URLs, regarless if they are typed in the address bar, the run box, or clicked on as a hyperlink. Every other aspect of my network and internet works, including other browsers. I have even tried to re-download IE6 with theses other browsers, hoping to uninstall and reinstall Internet Explorer, but the non microsoft browsers cannot open some of the windowsupdate web pages. After wasting a couple hours with a campus it staffer, he concluded there must be a problem in the registry... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
