Check your HOSTS file and see if it is blocking your sites.

Delete all temporary internet files and cookies. Hotmail is very dependent
on cookies settings.

computer is fine for surfing the internet but has trouble logging into
specific sites. Hotmail is the most notable, but it also includes GMX and
some others.

almost non existent to accept all cookies etc. When I go to the specific
sites I enter userlogin information(which works fine on other
comps/browsers) and get a "This page cannot be displayed error".
> I hav tried pretty much everything in my bag of tricks. One last thing
is he possibility that someone has changed the default routes to the hotmail
and other sites. Let me explain. I once played a game at games.swirve.com
but could not log in directly to that sight, I had to go to
games2.swirve.com so I tweaked a setting somewhere that meant each time I
typed games.swirve.com into the browser it linked to games2.swirve.com.
Unfortunately the process slips my memory. If anyone can refresh my memory
on that one - or has any other ideas on what is causing this error your help
would be appreciated. Thanks.
