This might just be a damaged shortcut. Find EXPLORER.EXE in C:\WINDOWS Right-click it, drag it to the desktop, choose "Create shortcut." You should
then be able to drag it to the QuickLaunch bar, if desired.
If that's not the fix, you might try the appropriate forum at
http://forum.mvps.org/ Either Windows 4.x or Windows 5.x since it's a
Windows Explorer problem.
