Every time I restart my PC it deletes the typed URL
history in IE.

Is there a setting which I can modify in the registry to
ensure that my URL history is retained?

I may have caused this problem myself when tweaking
Windows with various tweak programs such as Xteq which I
have installed so I wonder if this might override any
changes I make.

Any help greatly appreciated.
