It sounds suspiciously like virus activity, or Spyware.
If your anti-virus is running and up to date, then I'd
recommend downloading Spybot Searech and Destroy, and
using it on your PC. It's a Great, FREE spyware remover,
and oddly enough it's one of the FEW that has NO spyware
of it's own.
You can locate the software by searching on Download.com
