Explorer Illegal operation

I am getting the following message: This program has
preformed an illegal operation and will shut down

If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.

I have rebooted and have look in just about all Illegal
operations that I could find but have not found a fix for
the problem. Can anyone help. Thank you in advance for any
help you may give
