Java load error

ok i have used the virtual machine with no problems in
the past. i dont know what set it off. i try to load
pages that require pop ups, and they fail to load with
the error ont he bottom toolbar reading "error on page" i
have downloaded suns java to no avail. i have no clue
what im doing and i am looking for a simple solution. any
help would be grand
